No hidden line items, no return-trip surprises — what we put in writing is what you pay.
A founder inspects the tree, identifies the defect, and decides whether cabling is the right call — or whether removal is the safer answer. We tell you straight either way.
Modern synthetic cabling that flexes with the tree, allowing natural movement while preventing catastrophic failure. Less invasive than traditional steel cable.
For severely compromised unions or large heritage trees, traditional 7×19 EHS steel with thru-bolted hardware. Engineered to ANSI A300 Part 3 standards.
For splits at the trunk, bronze threaded rod bracing stitches the wood together while the wound compartmentalizes around it.
Cables and braces aren't install-and-forget. We come back annually to inspect tension, hardware, and tree response — included for the first 3 years.
Some carriers require documented mitigation for "high-risk" trees. We provide written reports and photos for your records.
Synthetic dynamic cables: 7–10 years before re-tensioning or replacement. Steel cables: 15–20+ years. We inspect annually and let you know when service is due.
A healthy tree compartmentalizes drill wounds within a season. The hardware we use is bronze (corrosion-resistant) and sized to minimize the wound. We never install cables into structurally weak wood.
No. About a third of the trees we inspect for cabling are honestly past the point where cabling helps — those we recommend for removal. Cables can't save a hollow trunk or a tree with extensive root rot.
A little. Synthetic cables are dark green/black and run high in the canopy, usually hard to spot from the ground. Steel cables are more visible but still subtle. Hardware at the trunk is a small bronze eye-bolt.
Yes — Japanese maples with split unions are common candidates. Smaller-scale rod or threaded-bolt work is a common request — we quote it after we see the tree.
Hazardous, dead, or unwanted trees taken down with rigging, cranes, and zero damage to what surrounds them.
ANSI A300 pruning that improves structure, light, and long-term health — not just shape.
Stumps ground 6–12" below grade, with chip haul-away available on request.
